Carol Lorita Heatherly, passed away on December 19, 2025. She was born in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas on July 26, 1943. She attended anesthesia school in Reading, Pennsylvania and began her career as a nurse anesthetist in Little Rock at St. Vincent's Hospital in 1979. She worked at Baptist Hospital and retired from the John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans' Hospital in 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Heatherly, Sr., and her parents, Alvin Ireland and Juanita Free Burrow.

She is survived by her son, William K. Heatherly, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Karen Heatherly, of Benton, Arkansas; daughter, Nita Brooks and son-in-law, Robert Brooks, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; granddaughter, Veronica Heatherly Trimarchi and her husband, Mario Trimarchi, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandson, William K. ''Trey'' Heatherly III, of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and one great grandchild, Piero King ''Pete'' Trimarchi, of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

A Memorial Service will held at a later date.

Nita, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have so many good memories of your Mom from being at your house growing up & then working with her in the O.R. for all those years. Such a special Lady. I am praying for you, Will and your families during this difficult time.
