Bob Sweet, 84, of Batesville passed away Monday, December 22, 2025.
He was born October 4, 1941 in Amarillo, Texas to Clarence and Nellie Mae (Hicks) Sweet.
Bob was a co-owner of Sweet's Contacting and owned a Montgomery Ward Franchise and Sweets Sports Mart. He loved his family very much and enjoyed watching the Razorbacks on t.v., hunting, and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elaine (Case) Sweet of the home; one daughter, Robin Courtney (David) of Batesville; one daughter-in-law, Christina Sweet of Batesville; one brother, Ronnie Sweet (Barbara) of Batesville; one sister-in-law, Polly Sweet of Maumelle; six grandchildren, Corbett Courtney (Peyton), Casen McCormick (Paden), Reagan Stalker (Sam), Riley Sweet (John Todd Stalker), Makenzie Epperson (Kyler), Brentley Gipson; two great-grandchildren, Kip Epperson, Baylor Courtney, and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his paternal and maternal grandparents, his son, Chuck Sweet, and one brother, Harold Sweet.
Pallbearers are Corbett Courtney, Brentley Gipson, Paden McCormick, Sam Stalker, John Todd Stalker, Kyler Epperson, Keith Sturch, and Clark Nail. Honorary pallbearers are Pete Musgrave, Bill Beller, David Courtney, Gary Jeffrey, Randy Spurlock, the caregivers at Gentiva Hospice, and Vital Link Ambulance.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Dear Elaine, Robin and Family and Friends...Dwight and me are saddened for your precious loss of Bob ... He was a true man of his good word and as kind too...he will be greatly missed, we are all better for knowing him. We're sending love and prayers to you sweet Elaine, Robin and Family.


He was such a good family man. We always enjoyed seeing him at school events supporting the grands. We know he created a lot of memories which are true treasures. We are praying for God's loving arms to surround this family in the days ahead.
