Elizabeth Ann Southard, 81, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Batesville, Arkansas. She was born May 12, 1944, in Heth, Arkansas to William F. Smith and Ruby Pauline Hanley Smith.

She was a devoted wife and an amazing mother, who was devoted to her family.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Southard, sons Richard Owens (Kimberly) of Jonesboro, Michael Owens (Laura) of Red Bank, Tennessee; a daughter, Stephanie Bradley of Nordheim, Texas; Three brothers, Robert, Allen, and Fred Smith, two grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Johnny Smith.

Graveside services will be Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at the Cleburne County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tharell Boulware officiating.
