Heaven gained an angel on December 12, 2025, when Elias James Kazi was called home into the arms of Jesus. Though his time on earth was brief, his life was deeply loved and will forever be cherished.
Elias was born at 11:16 p.m. to his parents, Eston and Caylea Kazi. He weighed 2 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 15.5 inches long. He was taken far too soon, but his impact on the hearts of those who loved him will never fade.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his great-grandfathers, Audry Halsted, Tom Stone, and Barry Wyles, and his great-grandmother, Joyce Wyles.
In addition to his parents, Elias is survived by his great-grandparents, Vickie Halsted, Pierre and Jody Licon, Dianne Stone, and Randy and Charlotte Garrett; his grandparents, Rick and Amy Wyles, Aaron and Lesley Licon, and Moin Kazi; and his aunts and uncles, Mandy Wyles, Ashley Wyles, Taustin Wyles, Ricky (Jordan) Wyles, Carly (Sam) Clark, Mylea Wyles, Alex (Hailey) Kazi, Noah Licon, Logan Licon, Grayson Licon, and Aminah Kazi. He is also survived by numerous great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins, and other family members and friends who loved him very much.
Visitation services will be held on Friday, December 19, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. A private family graveside service will follow.
The family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Conway Regional Medical Center for the compassionate and exceptional care provided to Caylea and Eston. A special thank you is given to Nurse Jennifer and Dr. Josh Ward. The family also deeply appreciates the prayers, love, and support shown during this difficult time.
''But Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.''' " Matthew 19:14 (NKJV)
Elias James Kazi will forever be remembered, loved, and held in our hearts.

Jody,
I'm sorry to read about the passing of your grandson, I know that in time the hurt fades away to a certain degree but he will remain in your hearts forever. We lost our oldest grandson when he was 7 weeks old 18 years ago, we still keep his memory alive keeping his picture on the mantle and include him at all of our family functions even if it is just his memory. May god guide you thru the next days, weeks and months ahead
