Robert Holliel Tinkle, 95, of North Little Rock passed away December 18, 2025. He was a banker in South Arkansas for 30 years. Afterwards, he transported cars and paperwork for Toyota NLR meeting folks all over the state and the country. Robert was a member of the Army National Guard for 40 years and was a member of the first 4 year class at South Arkansas University in 1952. He was a graduate of the SMU SW School of Banking. He was an active member of Lakewood United Methodist Church.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Jean Johnston, and his parents Lester ''Jack'' and Flois Cameron Tinkle. He is survived by his daughter Sharon and son-in-law Steve Michener and a host of nieces and nephews.
As a friend and banker, Robert enjoyed helping people. To family, friend �" old and new, and customer, he not only gave financial advice, he helped folks learn to problem solve and chart their paths in life.
Visitation will be at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 4:00-6:00 pm.
Memorials may be made to Lakewood United Methodist Church, North Little Rock.
Inurnment will be private at a later date.
