of Greenbrier, AR
December 4, 1951 - December 11, 2025
Dale Marie Smith, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2025. She was born December 4, 1951, in Anchorage, Alaska.
Dale was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Raymond Odom and Edna Betrice Odom; her brother, Charles Gail Odom; and her daughter, Evelyn Denise Perry.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Eugene Perry (fiancé, Mary Robin Prowse) and Jeffery Allen Perry (wife, Amanda Marie Perry); her sister, Pamela Sue Higdon; her grandchildren, Bailey Elizabeth Perry and McKenzie Jo Perry (children of Jimmy), and Tre Allen Perry, Taylor Marie Pearson (husband, Markus Benten Pearson), Nathaniel Eli Perry, and Keaton Oliver Perry (children of Jeffery and Amanda); and her great-grandchildren, Kairi Orion Dunmoodie and Fera Celeste Dunmoodie (children of McKenzie), and Lena Marie Pearson and Hawk Benten Pearson (children of Taylor and Markus).
Dale's greatest pride and joy was her family. She loved being surrounded by the ones she loved most, and she treasured every moment, big or small, spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Music was always close to her heart, and her home was often filled with it. She also had a tender spot for animals, especially her dogs, who were truly part of the family and rarely far from her side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 514 E Sixth Street, Conway, AR 72032, on December 27, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Faulkner County Animal Shelter:

All.

Marie was her name, but to me and many others she was Mom. So beautiful inside and out, full of love and life. Perfectly imperfect, unapologetically real and one of a kind. I will miss you everyday.

My condolences to the family

To her boys, I'm so sorry for your loss. I really didn't know the family very well. We both lived in the same community. I know who the boys were. Losing a mother is hard especially this time of the year.

She was a very nice and funny lady. I enjoyed talking to her every time I was around her. She will be missed by very many. I'm so sorry Jim and Jeff. Prayers for the whole family.

Marie was a beautiful soul, loved by everyone she met. She will be missed. God. Bless you Jim & Jeff and your families. Love you Brothers

I will miss you and never forget your smile and laugh! You are a light to many and I know you are Rockin' Heaven! I will love like a sister forever!
