Sally Jain Dawson, 65, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born on April 13, 1960, in Gulfport, Mississippi, to the late Lester and Mary Rowell. Throughout her life, she was a homemaker; she always made sure her husband, children and home were cared for. Sally was known as ''barefoot, redneck country girl,' she loved to be outdoors, gardening, fishing or playing with be beloved dogs. Though she was a homebody at heart, Sally loved to travel, anywhere and everywhere, but she especially loved a long walk on the beach. She enjoyed it anytime she could spend quality time with her family, and she loved the color yellow. Sally will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Sally is survived by her husband Paul Dawson of the home; sons Patrick Reed (Latasha) of Gautier, Mississippi and Michael Dawson of Yellville, Arkansas; daughters Angel Goodman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Brandie Lavy of Yellville, Arkansas; brothers Lester Rowell Jr. And AJ Rowell both of Gulfport, Mississippi; sister Barbara Weatherford of Long Beach, Mississippi; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Teresa Cole.
