Brenda Gail Fowlkes, 78, of Vilonia, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2025. She was born December 21, 1946, in Conway, Arkansas, to Obie and Olean Loyd.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 50 years, Tommy Fowlkes; her son, Jeffrey Fowlkes; and her mother- and father-in-law, Aaron and Lorene Fowlkes.
Brenda was a faithful member of Center Point Free Will Baptist Church in Vilonia, where she joyfully served in many roles through the years, including Sunday School teacher, Children's Church worker, Nursery Director, and church Treasurer for 20 years. She was dependable, giving, and deeply committed to her church family. Brenda and Tommy also owned and operated a construction business and TBF Sanitation for many years, working side by side and serving their community with pride.
Brenda is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Brady; her son, Blake (Cynthia) Fowlkes of Vilonia; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, who brought her so much joy and whom she loved dearly: her grandchildren Cooper (Katie) and Abie Fowlkes; Macy, Mya, and Jacob Brady; Angel (Tristan) Colón; Brynlee and Taylin Fowlkes, all of Vilonia; Whitney Brandt of Ward; Tristan (Kenya) Cochran of Missouri; and Jena (Chris) Davis of Mt. Vernon.
She is also survived by her sisters, Jackie (Johnny) Fowlkes and Tammy (Lee) Ramsey, both of Vilonia; her in-laws, Karon (Jerry) Williams, Ronnie (Linda Sue) Fowlkes, and Beverly Fowlkes; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jared Fowlkes, Daron Williams, Cooper Fowlkes, Kent Brown, Brandon Fowlkes, and Jody Ramsey.
There will be a Visitation held at Center Point Free Will Baptist Church in Vilonia, Arkansas, on December 17th, 2025, from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at Center Point Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 10:00am with Bro. Greig Caswell officiating . Graveside services will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery in Conway, Arkansas.

I feel honored to have been a part of Brenda's extended family by marriage to Craig Cox. I didn't get as much time with her as most but will hold on to the memories we did make. My prayers go out to all her family and many friends.
