Sylvia Earlene Davis, 85, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025. She was born December 16, 1939, in Cherry Grove, Arkansas to the late Willis S. and Lola (Richards) Robinson.
Sylvia was devoted wife and caring mother. She was an excellent cook and was loved by many. Sylvia was a Christian woman and long-time member of Woodland Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carvin Farris Davis; her parents, Willis and Lola Robinson; one brother, Donald Robinson; one sister, Wilma Hess; one stepdaughter, Connie Griffith; one stepson in-law, Stanley Long; one daughter in-law, Silvana Davis; and one nephew, Gary Allen Robinson.
Sylvia is survived by her three sons, David (Tim Aunghst) Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Richard (Sandra) Davis, and James Davis both of Clarksville; four step daughters, Sandra Long of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Becky Jones Edge, and Libby Payan both of McRae, Arkansas, and Ginnie Jones of Greensburg, Indiana; three step sons, Ed Jones of Nashville, Tennessee, Dave Jones of Camby, Indiana, and Tommy (Linda) Davis of Indianapolis, Indiana; one brother, John Day Robinson; three sisters, Doris Loren Chambers Gray, Stella Willene Robinson, and Midge Robinson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Special mention to the extended family of Sandra Long for all they have done through the years for Mom.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 18, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 19, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Minnow Creek Cemetery in Hagarville, Arkansas.

Mrs Sylvia will be missed greatly. Prayers for the family!

Our condolences to the family for their loss. Sylvia was a beautiful woman and gentle soul who always had a smile for everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

Sylvia and I worked together for many years at Singer in Clarksville. She was a special lady.
