October 1, 1952 - December 15, 2025
Donna Shuffield Lindsey, age 73, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at Parkview Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Donna was born on October 1, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Charles and Norma (Murray) Shuffield. She spent most of her life in Arkansas, where she built lasting friendships and a career she truly loved.
Donna devoted 40 years of service as Assistant Parts Manager at North Point Ford. She began her career at Moore Ford in downtown North Little Rock and quickly became known for her remarkable knowledge and dedication. Donna took great pride in her work and was famous for knowing every part and part number for every Ford ever built. Her commitment and expertise earned her the respect of coworkers and customers alike.
Above all else, Donna's greatest joy was her family. She shared an especially close bond with her niece, Leslie Ross, and nephew, Chuck Owen, whom she loved as her own children. She cherished the many trips and special moments they shared and delighted in spoiling them, even gifting each of them a new car on their 16th birthday. Thoughtful and generous by nature, Donna never missed a birthday or special occasion and always found ways to make others feel remembered and loved.
In 2024, Donna moved to Auburn, Indiana, to be closer to family as she faced health challenges. She treasured the time spent near those she loved most.
Donna is survived by her sister, Carolyn (Leonard) McCollough of Auburn, Indiana; her niece, Leslie (Derek) Ross of Avilla, Indiana; and her nephew, Chuck (Kris) Owen of Chicago, Illinois. She is also lovingly remembered by her great-nieces, Jordyn (Jacob) Garcia and Isabella Owen; great-nephews Riley Bilger, James, Zack, and Max Owen; and three great-great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Donna will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn,
I was so saddened to read of your sister's passing. Sending prayers that you find peace in the coming days.
Sincerely,
Susan Eschenbernner

So sorry to hear of Donna's passing. She is a 1st cousin, the daughter of my father's brother.
My last communication was some photographs of my father, that she mailed to me, and I think I called her ... this was over 5 years ago.
We also met at our Grandmother's graveside service, many years ago.
And, by chance, I think she sold me a new fuel pump for my Ford Escort, back in the 1980s.
Nowadays, people have so little time for family gatherings and such ... most folks work all the time (at 73, I'm still working full time, to make both ends meet).
I'll miss you Donna. The thought of seeing my old family members again occasionally crossed my mind ... I've lost so many friends and loved ones in recent years.

Donna you are now in the arms of Jesus. You are are also with your parents and other family and friends.
We have been very good friends since the 7th grade at Ridge Road Jr. High and then on to NLRHS. We had some good times together that I will never forget. Especially our trip to the Bahamas. That was fun.
May you rest in peace my friend.

Donna, we had lots of great times since 8th grade! You had the car and gave several of us a ride to NLR high school and we arrived safely beyond our belief! Jesus took you home in his arms and carried you to see your loving parents and to an eternal home. Watch over your family and friends until we meet you again and FLY HIGH! I can hear you humming along right now as you fly!!!! Xoxo
