Willa Deane Mikel, age 95 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Sunday, December 7th, 2025 at home with family by her side. She was born in Hamilton, Alabama on August 20th, 1930 to Dexter Webb and Hattie Ridings Webb. Deane was married to Kenneth Raymond Mikel for 60 plus years before his passing in 2015.

Deane spent her working years as an office manager/secretary, assisting and working with her husband in his many business ventures. She enjoyed traveling, especially road trips. She was an excellent cook. Deane enjoyed reading and gardening. She had an excellent green thumb and loved growing flowers. Her fun loving nature made her the life of the party and she could play a good hand of poker. Deane loved her family dearly and her legacy will live on in the lives she touched.

Survivors include her daughters, Kendra Cardella-Soto (Harry) of Seattle, Washington, Tracy Helsel (David) of Marshall and Beth Burkhardt (Terry) of Marco Island, Florida; ten grandchildren, Kris, Alexander, Kaylyn, Ryan, Tristan, Blakeley, Landon, Melissa, Hunter and Chase; seventeen great-grandchildren, Aurora, Benedict, Augustine, Arabella, Dominic, Zenith, Layla, Lawson, Lennon, Raelynn, Grayson, Tyler, Bryan Jr., Kendra, Mason, Liam and Kenneth; and one niece, Shelley Gattari of Michigan.

Deane is preceded in death by her parents, Dexter and Hattie Webb; her husband, Kenneth Raymond Mikel; two daughters, Sherry Lausted and Glenna Tedford; one young brother, Sonny Webb, who passed away at the age of 3; and three sisters, Jean Baker, Sue Moody and Jana Wilson.

A private family memorial to celebrate the life of Deane may be held at a later date.

What I remember most about my cousin Deane, was the gleam in her beautiful eyes! Her eyes had the same gleam , and brightness that our grandpa Webb's eyes had!! ❤️

I was just thinking of her today. Sorry to hear. I sure enjoyed when she came over to Tulsa and we had dinner with her and sue. She will be missed by her extended Webb family.
