of Paragould, AR
April 24, 1962 - December 10, 2025
Sherry Lynn (Bennett) Huddle was born on April 24, 1962, at Pocahontas, AR to BW and Jewell Bennett. Sherry departed this life on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at her home in Paragould, AR at the age of 63.
Sherry loved life. She committed her life to Christ as a teenager. She loved serving Him in various ministries through the local church. Sherry felt God's call to be a pastor's wife as a teenager. Sherry married the love of her life, Howard, on December 19, 1980. Howard, on August 4, 1985, surrendered his life to full-time church ministry. Sherry was a great pastor's wife and support to Howard as he pastored several churches. Sherry served in the children's, youth, and adult women's ministries. She always served wherever there was a need. Sherry loved to see people come to salvation through Christ and to watch them grow in Christian maturity. Sherry also loved playing the piano. This was what brought her the most joy. Sherry was the pianist in many of the churches that Howard pastored. The joke was, most churches called Howard to get a piano player more than a Pastor. Sherry also led worship and choir in two of the churches they served in.
Sherry loved family. She loved it when she could get together with her kids and grandsons. She loved all the noise that was made when they came into the house. She always liked the first question that was asked by the grandsons, ''Hey, Papa and Nana, do you have any ice cream?'' She loved the hugs and kisses (the kisses not so much as they grew older) they would give her. Sherry loved reading to her grandsons and playing whichever board game they wanted to play. It was usually Aggravation, because the boys like to aggravate the adults. As they have gotten older, Sherry tried to give them guidance for life. Being their Nana was an honor and privilege for her.
Sherry also loved getting together with extended family, the Bennetts, Evans, and Huddles. She loved the family reunions where she could catch up with her aunts, uncles, cousins and their families.
Sherry was a member of New Haven Baptist Church, Paragould, where her husband, Howard, currently pastors. Sherry fell in love with the people at New Haven when we first met them. This was her church and she loved it more than they will ever know.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Howard, of the home; son, Aaron (Charla) Huddle of Spiro, OK; daughter, Audrey (Bryan) McNair of Ozark, MO; father and mother, BW and Jewell Bennett, of Pocahontas; one brother, Jeff (Lisa) Bennett of Pocahontas; two sisters, Arlene (Brad) Hays of Mountain Home, AR and Brenda Bennett of Pocahontas; eight grandsons, Cade Breier, Liam Breier, Isaac McNair, Vedder Huddle, Beckham McNair, Kingston McNair, Aaden Huddle, and Rowan McNair; two nephews, Austin Bennett and Cody Cline; and a host of other family members.
