of Cheyenne, WY

September 24, 2004 - December 4, 2025

Madison Leighann Gray, 21, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on December 4, 2025. Born on September 24, 2004, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Madison was the beloved daughter of Carla Butler and Scott Gray, and the cherished bonus daughter of Amanda Gray and Mike Butler. She graduated from Cheyenne South High School in 2023 and worked at the Youth Center at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, where her kindness and joy touched the lives of many children.

Madison's passions reflected her vibrant spirit. She adored Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, loved playing board games, watching anime, and listening to Taylor Swift. She found joy in shopping trips, drawing, and writing fan fiction, and she treasured time spent with her friends. Children were drawn to her gentle nature, and she had a gift for making them feel safe, seen, and loved. Her bubbly personality and kind soul left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Madison is survived by her mother, Carla Butler; her father, Scott Gray; her bonus mom, Amanda Gray; her bonus dad, Mike Butler; her siblings, Jackson Gray, Jacob Butler, Kathryn Butler, and Alexis Mackey; and many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

A celebration of Madison's life will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 1pm. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful life she lived.

''Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye. You were bigger than the whole sky. You were more than just a short time.''
