Mrs. Patricia Ann Collins, age 77, of West Memphis, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025. Born on September 17, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee, Patricia lived a life marked by kindness, devotion, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys that made each day meaningful.
A longtime member of Cypress Avenue Baptist Church, Patricia's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She found comfort and community there, and her gentle spirit touched all who worshiped alongside her. Patricia spent many dedicated years working as a secretary at Von's Body Shop in Marion, where her warm smile and steady presence became a fixture to coworkers and customers alike. Outside of work, she delighted in word search puzzles and cherished every moment spent with her friends and family. Whether sharing a laugh, offering a listening ear, or celebrating life's small blessings, Patricia made those around her feel valued and loved.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, James Collins, and her mother, Mary Mathis.
Left to honor her memory are her son, Brian Collins, and his wife, Sheri; her grandchildren, Matthew Collins and his wife, Abbey, and Brandon Collins; her brother, Darnell Mathis; her nephews, Chris Mathis and Shawn Mathis; and her niece, Teri Adams. Each carries forward the lessons, love, and warmth she shared so freely.
Patricia's legacy is one of faith, family, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
