Elizabeth Ann Jacobs

of Conway, AR

April 11, 1938 - December 8, 2025

Elizabeth ''Bettie'' Ann Jacobs, 87, of Conway, AR, was welcomed into her heavenly home with Jesus on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Bettie was preceded in death by her father William ''Bill'' Whelan; mother Ann Shumway Whelan; and two brothers.

Bettie leaves behind a legacy of love through her family: husband Carl Jacobs of Conway, AR; son Wayne Jacobs (Jenny) of Palestine, TX; daughter Sheila Phillips (Sean) of Redfield, AR; daughter Karen Crozier (Drew) of Conway, AR; granddaughter Anna Johnson (Brent) of Greenbrier, AR; six granddaughters - Crystal, Keesha, Ashlie, Paige, Kenzie, Brooke; six grandsons - Carl, Lewis, Brandon, Dalton, Peyton, Noah; and nine great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy. She also leaves behind numerous beloved friends.

In 1962, Bettie and Carl married, sharing a life marked by unwavering devotion, faithfulness, and a love that stood steadfast through every season of life.

Bettie spent her career as a devoted Registered Nurse, pouring her heart into caring for others. Nursing was not only her profession - it was her ministry. Her compassionate spirit and unvarying presence comforted many throughout her years of service.
Bettie possessed a quiet wit, subtle humor, and steady wisdom that touched the lives of all those that knew her. She had a fondness for Diet Coke, a love for watching her grandkids participate in sports, and she delighted in going for a ride - anywhere, at any time - simply enjoying the journey. Bettie was the best listener, loved her church family, enjoyed playing games, and treasured every moment spent surrounded by family and friends.

Bettie's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to caregivers, Baptist Hospice staff, church family (Family Life Bible Church), and friends for their care, compassion, and support during her final days.
