Ralph Eugene Adams, Sr.

of Midway, AR

September 6, 1929 - December 3, 2025

Our Savior Jesus Christ has overcome death and brought eternal life to all who choose to follow/believe in him. Let us remember with Thanksgiving what God has done through his servant Ralph Eugene Adams, Sr.

Ralph Adams, son of George R. Adams and Gretchen Lee Adams, was born in Decatur, Illinois on September 6, 1929. He was baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Ralph joined together in holy matrimony to Faye Cooper Grom on July 3, 1971

Jesus called Ralph home to eternal life on December 3, 2025, at the age of 96. He is survived by his wife, Faye, 7 children, Linda (John) Templeton, of Mountain Home, Walter (Carol) Grom, Streamwood, II, Sandie (Michael) Ostrander of Mountain Home, Karl (Launa) Grom Gaffney SC, Ralph (Cheryl) Adams Anderson, Jr. SC, Deborah (Dan) McCarthy Gurnee Il and Robert Grom, Sharon WI., 25
Grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 10 great- great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Marian Wagner, daughter Debra Ostrander, grandsons Mark Adams, Houston Brinegar and Jeffrey Webster.

Ralph really enjoyed the outdoors especially time on the lake fishing and taking adventures with his wife in their 5th wheel. Ralph had other hobbies like working with wood and creating birdhouse and feeders and was a member of the Mountain Home Woodcarvers. He was a pilot and a member of the Waukegan Airport. He was often found at the donut shop enjoying time with his buddies.
He also loved playing an array of card games with friends and family, and was a regular occurrence for Ralph.

Blessed are the dead who die in the LORD. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord, we give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for our brother in Christ, Ralph Adams.
A visitation will be held Thursday December 11, 2025 at 12:00 pm with services to follow at 1:00 pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

All memorial contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church food pantry.

Dear Sandie and family....I know you are all sad with the passing of your father and grandfather, but are happy to know that he is in Good Hands. I did not know Ralph well, but he was always happy when he came into the store.
