I served in the Army.

Frank VillinesI am a Veteran.

of Harrison, AR

August 30, 1950 - November 29, 2025

Franklin "Frank" Monroe Villines, age 75, of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was born August 30, 1950, in Harrison, Arkansas, to James Marshall and Mary Irene (Orender) Villines.

Frank was a man of tireless work ethic and a true pillar of the Harrison business community. A veteran of the United States Army Reserve, he carried a sense of duty into his civilian life. In 1975, he founded Villines Security, which was later renamed Eagle Security. He then opened Villines Lock and Key in 1984. Frank was a serial entrepreneur, having his hand in everything from a gas station and car wash to operating "Taxi of the Ozarks," a Greyhound bus station, and RC Cola/7Up and bread routes.

His business legacy was proudly carried on by his late son, John, and continues today through his daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Chris.

When he wasn't running a business, Frank was happiest on his tractor. He loved farming and raised a little bit of everything over the years, from sheep and cattle to hogs, goats, and horses. He was known for his humor; he was a jokester who loved to make people laugh. He was hard-headed but a man who loved his family deeply and was there to lift their spirits.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara (Ransom) Villines of the home; his daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Chris Black of Harrison; son, James Villines of Springdale; and honorary daughter and son-in-law, Jodie and Tim Roberts of Western Grove.

He is survived by his siblings: sisters and brother-in-law, Leona and Kenny Reddell of Oklahoma and Marilyn Reed of Harrison; and brother and sister-in-law, Patrick and Cortney Villines of Harrison. He is also survived by grandchildren: Justice Didway (Katie), Jordan Villines, Logan Magness, and Ella Black; great-grandfather to Harper, Benjamin, and Eleanor, sister-in-law, Ruthann Villines of Joplin, Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his son and daughter-in-law, John and Amy Villines; his brothers, Jerry, Michael (Mike), and Nelson Curtis Villines; and his sisters, Marsha Ann Keeling, Jeannie Villines, and Sharon Tatro.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Justice Didway, officiating.

Visitation will be from 12-2:00pm before the service on Saturday.
Interment will be in Milam Cemetery, Silver Valley Road.
Pallbearers: Chris Black, Logan Magness, Jason Villines, Michael Villines, Marcus Villines, and Steve Miller.

Honorary Pallbearers: Adam Villines, Patrick Villines, Kenneth Villines, Kenny Reddell, Tim Roberts, Bill Magness, Bud Atkinson, Bill Lovell, Robert Brewer, Tommy Jackson, Bill Cook, and Walter Cox.
