of Little Rock, AR
April 6, 1935 - November 29, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Winnifred Flesher (née Brommel). After a long and beautiful life, she left this world on November 29, 2025 surrounded by those who loved her most. Born on April 6, 1935 in Saint Marys, Iowa and known affectionately as "Peggy", she raised her children in Conway, Arkansas, where she co-owned a high-end women's clothing boutique, Peggy Fredric's. She spent her later years in Little Rock, Arkansas, where her son, Gregory and her daughter, Jolene reside. Her daughter, Julia lives in New York City. Peggy was predeceased by her son, Mark in 2002. She is survived by her three siblings, three children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the P.A.R.K. Foundation.

Greg, Julia, and Jolene,
Kenny and I were so saddened to learn of your mother's passing. Peggy was always so gracious to us both and I treasured every interaction with her. My mother has such warm memories of your mother as well.
Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May the love surrounding you and the beautiful memories you hold bring you comfort and peace.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Patty and Kenny Shipp

Julia, Jolene, Greg, my heart and prayers of comfort go out to you all in this dark time. In recent years, Peggy reached out to me in the most beautiful kindness and friendship. She kept me up with the family, and never missed a birthday. It was always a wonderful surprise to receive a message from her! She was one of a kind, and will be missed terribly! I will cherish her friendship forever. I hope your memories will soften the grief to come.
Love to you all,
Dixie Wells Bahma

Julia, Jolene, and Greg- I am covering all of you in love and prayer over the loss of your mother. Your mom was always kind to me during high school and college. We reconnected later on FB and she would send an uplifting message periodically. May your love and memories give you strength during your grief.

Peggy was exquisite both inside and out. She was filled with joy and good humor. Over the years we have shared extraordinary adventures…
Being whisked from New York to Connecticut with a stop at Cracker Barrel for a symphony concert with The Hot Sardines
Beautiful evenings and breakfasts-always with her strong coffee-spent in her New York ''jewel box''
Many days on the road to Keo for a hamburger and chocolate pie
Peggy's was a life fully lived with love and appreciation of her family and all who surrounded her.
Thankful for the time we savored together,
Buff Blass

Greg, Julia, and Jolene. My condolences to your family. I met Peggy when her son, Greg, was the President of the AR Sports Hall of Fame. We remained friends after that. She was a beautiful and special lady, always making people feel appreciated and loved. She will be missed.

Peggy's kindness was seen in every friendship she had. Though I met her through my college roommate, Jolene, she pursued a friendship with me after that. She even invited me to live with her when I moved to Little Rock in the 80s because I was having a hard time finding a place to live! When she lived in New York, my favorite thing was when she came to Little Rock, she would take me to breakfast at the Capital Hotel, and we would catch up on the year's happenings. Then when she moved back to Little Rock, I tried to reciprocate the same gestures and go visit her. She was sharp until the end when I saw her in October. She loved her family so well. She was a rare individual.

Greg, Julia and Jolene,
Becky and I send our condolences for the loss of your sweet Mom. Peggy was always my cheerleader and her's and your Dad's friendship will forever be cherished by us both. God grant you peace and guidance as you navigate life without her.

Oh my dear sweet kind friend Peggy (and like a second mother at times) I will forever cherish the many memories that stem back some 49 years ago. May your beautiful soul be rewarded with many crowns as you embrace His presence. Praying God wraps His arms around your family and all of us that are mourning your loss at this time.

We are so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing - she was a beautiful and gracious lady. Our heartfelt condolences to your family.

We are so sorry for your loss. We will remember your mom as a wonderful, sweet, fine lady.
