Jarrell DeWayne Johnson, age 85, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025. He was born in Perry, Arkansas, on January 1, 1940, to his late parents, Harold and Lois Evans Johnson. Jarrell enjoyed both deer and squirrel hunting, he enjoyed gardening, was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church for more than 30 years and most recently a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church for the past 6 years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Audrey; two children, Tammy Drake (Michael) and Kendall Johnson (Heidi); three grandchildren, Bodie Drake (Jessie), Kenny Johnson (Brandy) and Michael Johnson and six great-grandchildren, Koby Johnson, Korey Johnson, Brennen Johnson, Timber Drake, Reef Drake and Koa Drake. He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Lavada McGown and Carolyn Johnson.
A visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 I-30, Little Rock, Arkansas (501)455-5800. Funeral services will be 1:00pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at East Union Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Paul Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in East End with Military Honors.
Jarrell loved to talk about Jesus and was prayer warrior.
