Barty O. Pearce was born in Arkansas and spent all 85 years of his life surrounded by the people and places he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Vera Pearce; his siblings; and his daughter, Tammy Pearce. He is survived by his four living children, ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his strength and spirit forward.

Barty served his country in the U.S. Army before building a life rooted in hard work and simple joys. He spent most of his life working concrete, a trade that matched his steady hands and steady heart. In his younger years he rode in rodeos, played softball, and found peace in the woods and on the water hunting and fishing. Barty was the kind of man who would help anyone who needed it, a dependable friend, and a father you were proud to claim. His presence left a mark on every life he touched, and his memory will continue to do the same.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 26, 2025 starting at 2:00pm at Roller McNutt-Funeral Home, with a visitation starting one hour prior. Burial will follow the funeral service at Mount Olive Cemetery.
