Ursula Lela Westmoreland, 54, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, November 10, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Toland Jay and Hildegard Stelter.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ursula graduated in 1990 from Conway High School. She attended Central Baptist College for 2 years before pursuing a career in law enforcement. She worked for The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, serving many roles, Jail Matron, Dispatcher, Deputy Sheriff-Patrol, Deputy Sheriff K-9 Officer. Ursula enjoyed and was proud to serve the citizens of Faulkner County as a Deputy Sheriff, where she served as the first female K-9 Officer of the department. Ursula was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.

Ursula is survived by her children, Lauren Crews, Lexi Westmoreland, Lars Westmoreland, Leif Westmoreland and Lela Belle Westmoreland and her grandchildren, Tayden Simmering, Lakyn Crews and Huxley Crews.

She is also survived by her brother, Herbert Stelter; sisters, Monika Swain and Marguerite Paul and many other friends and relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1:00pm in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway.

I worked with Ursula at FCSO and also at Hendrix after Retirement. She was such a sweet friend. She so Loved her kids and always spoke fondly of them all. She will be missed by us all. Godspeed My friend. Prayers to her family

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Ursula. I worked with her as deputies in patrol at FCSO and she was always one you could count on if you needed her. She was always so friendly and helpful. My deepest sympathy and prayers for her family. Rest easy sister, you will be missed.
