Glenda Lavern Sitton Smith, 82, of Clinton, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on November 14, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in 1943 in Lexington, Arkansas to Lucille Williams Sitton and Vern Wade Sitton. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Charles Smith; her son, Jeffrey Wayde Smith; her parents Vern and Lucille Sitton; her sister, Shirley Hoover; and many other loved ones.
Glenda was a faithful member of Pee Dee Baptist Church. Her faith in God was a major influence in her gracious, loving, generous life. Her passing will leave an empty spot in the hearts of many family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Pee Dee Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pee Dee Baptist Church.
