Verna ''Ginger'' Hale, 68, of Benton, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, in Little Rock. She was born on May 15, 1957, in Dothan, Alabama, to James Andrews and Verna Brannon Andrews.
Ginger loved her family deeply and found great joy in the companionship of her beloved dogs. She dedicated 25 years of service to Arkansas Hospice before recently retiring. In her quieter days, she cherished time spent caring for her dogs, watching nature from the comfort of her home, and growing tomatoes each season. She treasured the daily moments spent reminiscing and visiting with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Alma ''Sissy'' Fleming, and her husband, Leon; her sons, Michael Blacklock and his wife, Courtney, and Robert Blacklock; numerous grandchildren; and three sisters and a brother, along with their extended families.
Ginger will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. Rest now, our mom, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and most of all, our Friend. Until we are all together again - we'll see you later.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at McPherson Cemetery on Salt Creek Road in Benton. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home, 6700 Alcoa Road, Benton, Arkansas 72015.
