Thomas "Tommy" Aaron YoungI am a Veteran.

July 22, 1945 - November 10, 2025

Thomas A. ''Tommy'' Young, 80, of Alexander, Arkansas, entered his heavenly home on November 10, 2025. Born July 22, 1945, Tommy lived a life marked by faith, family, and service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther J. and Edna Young of Little Rock; his brothers Jimmy L. Young of Little Rock and John Ed Young of Bryant; and his sister Tressie (Dub) Wells of Little Rock.

Tommy was a devoted Christian, a faithful deacon, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frances A. Young of Alexander; his children Roslyn (Rick) Davis of Springdale and Aaron (Jennifer) Young of Alexander; and his three beloved grandchildren - Trey Davis of Bentonville, Madison (Kyle) Bradshaw of Malvern, and Jordan Young of Alexander.

For more than 40 years, Tommy was a dedicated member of Indian Springs Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and lived out his faith by helping others. He was always the first to lend a hand and the last to seek recognition. His love for his church was only matched by his love for his family. Married to his beautiful bride for nearly six decades, Tommy and Frances built a life of selflessness and devotion that touched everyone who knew them.

To his children, he was a steady presence and a source of strength. To his grandchildren - who lovingly called him ''Paw Paw'' - he was a hero. Whether working on school projects, fixing cars, or delivering lunch after a simple phone call, Paw Paw never hesitated to show up.

Tommy's life was full of hard work and adventure. He played football for Mabelvale High School, earning the nickname ''Lil' Red.'' He worked on the family dairy farm, at a local gas station, and even ''dragged University'' in his younger days. He proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserves and was part of the Airborne Green Berets.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant.

"Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4 NIV

So sorry for your loss. Tom was a really good man. When I first went to work at Southwestern Bell In 1972 Tom helped train me in my job. We worked either together or around each other for the next 28 years. Later I worked with his Son Aaron. Tom was a steady hand and would help anyone at any time if they needed it. Donna and I will be praying for his family.

So sorry to learn of Tommy's passing and know that his family will miss him greatly. But I pray that Frances, the kids, and the extended family take comfort in knowing he is in his eternal home now and not suffering from any health concerns. Wow - what a legacy he leaves behind with the love he shared with his wife of almost 60 years, his children and grands. So glad he was a man of God and a faithful leader of his church. Gone but not forgotten, he will rest in our hearts until we see his smiling face again someday when our time comes. Thank you Lord for this great man - he will be missed.
