Gary Dwayne Roberts

of Mountain Home, AR

June 30, 1956 - November 4, 2025

Gary Dwayne Roberts, age 69, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on November 4, 2025. He was born on June 30, 1956, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to the late Henry Lee Roberts and Ruby (Cox) Roberts.
Gary was known for his hardworking nature, big heart, and the way he lived life to the fullest.
He enjoyed ''popping in for a visit'' whenever he felt necessary and always bringing laughter, stories, and good company with him.
He loved horseback riding, taking his river boat out on the water, and camping with his grandchildren. Gary could often be found swinging on his front porch with a Diet Pepsi in hand, telling stories that could make anyone smile.

He had a knack for working with his hands, especially tinkering with old equipment, and took great pride in his craftsmanship. Above all, Gary cherished time spent with his family and friends, creating countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Gary is survived by his sons, Dwayne (Leslie) Roberts and Ricky (Rhonda) Roberts; his grandchildren, Tabitha (Nick) Maze, Chase Roberts, Trey (Ali) Swarthout, Drey Swarthout, and Sasha Swarthout; and a slew of great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Pat, Wanda and Barbara and two brothers: Pete and Terry.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Roberts, Jarrett Roberts, Shawn Roberts, Trey Swarthout, Drey Swarthout, Nick Maze, and Chase Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are Richard Sutterfield, Roger Trimble, and Larry Dean Payne.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Wyatt Pulliam officiating.
Gary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of laughter, love, and hard work will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.

Condolences to Gary's family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have been neighbors with Gary for around 30 years. Bobby of course has known him his whole life. Gary on more occasions than we can count would lend us a hand any time we need help. He will greatly be missed as a neighbor, friend and someone to sit around reminiscing.

I'm thankful that I got to see and visit with Gary at our cousin's reunion some years ago. The years drift by and we don't know when our last time will be to see or talk to anyone. Gary is with twin Terry again, and all the other family that went before him. You're going to be sorely missed Gary by us all.
My sympathy to everyone.
Love, Nadine & August
