Donald Ray Brown, 84, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at his home in West Helena. He was born on Tuesday, December 31, 1940, in Harrisburg, Arkansas to the late Jasper Louis Brown and Orlie Bell Harmon. Don worked for McKnight Plywood in West Helena for over 40 years. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Mr. Don spent his time hunting and fishing, piddling around, and was always doing something. He also enjoyed taking care of his garden.

He is survived by his wife, of 68 years, Mary E. Brown; one son, Durrell Keith Brown (Shelia) of West Point, Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Rogers (Randy), Holly Brown, Kriston Brown, Zach Brown, Michelle Brown, Michael Brown, and Misty Brown; eight great-grandchildren, Bailey Fields, Natalie Fields, Bryson Fields, Westin Cook, Madisyn Sanders, Raelynn Sanders, Daxx Cato, and River Brown; one great-great-grandchild, Emerson Traylor; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Orlie Brown; one son, Micheal Brown; two brothers; two sisters.

Pallbearers will be Layne Traylor, Bryson Fields, Westin Cook, Jennifer Rogers, Randy Rogers, and Dylan Camp.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Walsh and Neal Byrd.

A graveside service for Donald Ray Brown will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Fred Garrison will officiate.
