of Shirley, AR
September 28, 1941 - October 28, 2025
Jerry Thomas Bradley, age 84, of Shirley, Arkansas passed to Heaven on October 28, 2025. Born on September 28,1941 in Shirley, Arkansas, he was the son of Rush and Anna Chambers Bradley. Jerry was a faithful member of First General Baptist Church in Clinton where he loved worshiping and serving as deacon for over 40 years.
Jerry, aka Chopper, worked for Petit Jean Electric for 40 years. Growing up he worked very hard picking cotton at a young age and worked in the fields at home. He loved walleye fishing with his sons and brothers. Jerry never missed a ball game with his sons and grandsons. He enjoyed many trips to Branson and St. Louis Cardinals games with family, nieces, and nephews.
Jerry was married to the love of his life, Mary Lea Clark, on September 28, 1963 and they cherished 62 years of happy marriage. Two sons, Jason (Cindy) and Rory (Staci) were born to this union. He loved his grandsons, Jace, Kannon (Maggie), Jaret (Sophie), Kragen (Steffanie) and 2 beautiful great-grandsons, Mac and Mannie Bradley. The family also looks forward to welcoming a beautiful great granddaughter, Kallaway Grace Bradley, in December - Poppy already loves her dearly.
He is survived by his brothers, Bob and Gary Bradley, sisters, Linda, Frankie, Betty and Judy as well as many loved ones and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Toby, Bill, Kenneth and Jim and his sister, Dorothy.
Jerry was a very God-loving man and was dedicated to teaching his children and grandchildren to love and follow Jesus. He often told them, when leaving the house, to ''drive safely until you get out of sight then POUR IT ON!!''
His favorite scripture was 1 Corinthians 13, the ''love chapter'' and he lived this out in his daily life. As he would always say, ''It's not goodbye. It's see you later.'' He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am-11:00 am at the First General Baptist Church in Clinton. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in Bradford cemetery in Shirley.

Bobby and I are so sorry for your families loss. We both loved Jerry very much. He was one of the kindest men we have known.

Service to the Lord is more than going to Church, preaching from a pulpit and even visiting the sick as important as these things are false Christs can hide truth behind these services but in everyday life is where every Christian should live and that is exactly where Jerry and Mary Bradley served. See you later Brother Jerry Bradley blessed to have knon you
