Diane Crockett Younger, 83, of West Memphis, AR passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, in Cordova, TN.
Born August 4, 1942, Diane was the daughter of the late William Mullins Crockett and the late LaVerne Crockett White. A 1960 graduate of West Memphis High School and lifelong resident of West Memphis, she was retired from sales at Power and Telephone Supply Co. in Memphis, Tn.
A baptized Jehovah's Witness since 1961, Diane enjoyed studying the Bible and talking to people about her faith. Spending time with her precious family and friends was her favorite pastime. Diane had a quick wit and infectious sense of humor. She had a passion for reading books and frequented the West Memphis Public Library for many years.
She is survived by her son, Carl Wayne Dunston Jr. (Kay) of Cordova, Tn and her daughter, Crista Swanner (Tony) of West Memphis, AR, one sister, Cleta Rodgers of San Antonio, TX, five grandchildren, Mary Katherine Dunston, Candace Dunston, Dylan Dunston, Tony Swanner Jr. and Clayton Swanner, nine great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cole Younger and two brothers, David Crockett and Mike Sherrod.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 600 S. Airport Rd., West Memphis, AR 72301

I am so dry to hear of Diane's passing. She was a dear friend. I know that I'll see her again in the resurrection to come. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

I don't think there was ever a time that I wasn't laughing when I was with my Aunt Diane. Even when a serious conversation was happening, she had the ability to make people laugh. I've said for years that she could have/should have been a stand up comedian. I'll cherish those memories.
