Bonnie Marie (Lawler) Hawkins, 76, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Conway. She was born on June 26, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Clyde Clayton and Berniss Julia (Gatz) Lawler.
She will be remembered for her outgoing personality, love of music, and strong lifelong friendships. Bonnie was a fierce advocate for her family, with her strong maternal advice and guidance to many. Lifelong hobbies included crocheting, cross-stitching, quilting, and sewing. Also, a plant and flower enthusiast. Bonnie worked in the Clarksville area for more than 30 years in medical settings.
Bonnie was predeceased in death by her husband of 55 years, Gary C. Hawkins; two sisters, Janet Graham of North Little Rock, AR, and Claudia Mitchell of Trevor, WI.
Those left to cherish her memories are her sons, Gary Scott Hawkins (Dale), and David Clayton Hawkins (Dana), all of Clarksville, AR; two brothers, Jon Lawler (Dawn), and Terry Lawler; three grandchildren, Christopher Hawkins (Rebecca), Kendall Gill, and Katie Johnson (Jacob); four great-grandchildren, Jameson Hawkins, Colton and Jaxson Johnson, and Christopher Kendall Gill Jr., along with many more family and friends, including her dear friend of 55 years, Pam Redd (Leon) of North Little Rock, AR.
Arrangements have been made under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with a visitation to be held from 3-5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. A funeral service for Bonnie will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 3, 2025, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas.
