James William Smith, age 82, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025. He was born in Little Rock on June 7, 1943, to his late parents, Robert and Ruby McCall Smith. James enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and showing off his carpentry work which included building bird houses. In addition, he was a member of Grace Church in East End and the Teamsters Union.

James is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon Smith. Survivors include his daughter, Becky Moss (Mike); granddaughters, Shelby Deatherage (Tommy) and Annie Moss and special friends, Steve and Ruthy Stewart.

A private graveside will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Church, 24300 US-167, Hensley, Arkansas 72065.
