Lana Jacqueline McCrery, 83, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her home in Yellville.
She was born on November 21, 1941, in Yellville, Arkansas, to the late Charles Rip Harrison and Mildred Richardson. Lana worked in many professions during her life; she was a mental health nurse, resort manager, hostess and clerk. She was known to be very passionate; a classy woman who loved keeping up with fashion trends and always looking her best. She was very grounded in her Arkansas family heritage and history and loved antiques. Lana was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Yellville. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Lana is survived by her daughter Marsha Hurst of Larned, Kansas; grandchildren, Tyce Hurst, Bryan Wilder, Kyle Wilder and Eryk Hurst; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and many close friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her husband R.H. Hurst; parents, Charles Rip Harrison and Mildred Richardson; maternal grandparents, Arthur Hurst and Mary Carriker and paternal grandmother Granny Fee and baby sister, Leala T. Harrison.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Layton Cemetery in Yellville, Arkansas with Bro. Kent Goodall officiating.
