February 7, 1952 - October 21, 2025
David Rhyne, 73, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Baptist Health in Conway. He was born February 7, 1952 in Sikeston, Missouri, the son of the late Roy Lee Rhyne, Sr. and Ruby Mae (Dodd) Rhyne.
David spent more than 43 years with Combined Insurance, where his hard work and natural gift for connecting with people made him one of the company's top salesmen. Over the years, he set sales records that stood for decades and earned recognition from company founder, W. Clement Stone himself. His success and reputation for excellence became well known throughout the organization.
Outside of his professional achievements, David loved life's simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman and deer hunter who found joy in the outdoors and in sharing those moments with family and friends. He enjoyed traveling, especially to favorite time-share destinations and was known for his fish fries and big holiday meals, where he was both the cook and the storyteller. His laughter, warmth and generosity will be deeply missed.
David is survived by his wife, Janet (Terrell) Rhyne; three children, Davey Rhyne of Harrison, Greg Rhyne of Harrison and Samantha (David) Snow of Everton and stepchildren Jimmie Mason (Caroline), Jill Samuels (Greg) and Michael Brown (Christy).
He is also survived by grandchildren, Stephanie Lemley, Amber Rhyne, Bailey Ann Rhyne, Chloe Rhyne, Erica Davis, Nicole Wagstaff, Candace Snow, Sarah Snow, Kiera Snow, Allison Angel, Mandy Cowan and Trent Tipton; twelve great-grandchildren and siblings, Ruby Faye (Charles) Parker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Dorothy Jean (Jim) Crow of Sikeston, Missouri, Jo Ann (Albert) Jones of Theodosia, Missouri and Allan Ray Rhyne of Sikeston, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roy Lee Rhyne Jr.; one sister, Martha Lee Dodd Rhyne and a sister-in-law, Ellen Rhyne.
Funeral service was held on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home in Harrison, with visitation one hour prior to service.
Interment followed at Maplewood Cemetery.
Brother Allan Rhyne will officiate.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
David will be remembered for his kindness, work ethic and love for people; a man who never met a stranger and whose legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

I will truly miss Mr Dave. I lived with him and his wife for nearly 2 years as a caregiver for his wife. Mr Dave was a very humble man. He really loved his wife and truly made sure that she had all of the proper care that she needed. He loved her more than he loved himself. I seen him as a man that was not in very good health but yet still doing things for his wife and assisting her in whatever she asked of him. Mr Dave loved corn bread and so did I but I had quit cooking cornbread because it's fattening but I started back cooking corn bread for Mr Dave and eating it too. LOL. Mr Dave will be truly missed. We all loved him but God loved him best.

Prayers be with the family at this time.

God Bless Dave, Janet and the Rhyne Family🙏✝️
