Bernice (Spencer) Helker, 65, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025 in Paris. She was born on August 8, 1960 in Lubbock, Texas to her parents, Anthony and Emogene Spencer.

Bernice was a dedicated homemaker and stay at home mom. She enjoyed working outside, especially gardening, loved to crochet and could always be found working a word search. She attended the Paris Christian Center.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Spencer and Rex Spencer.

She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Patterson and husband Jared of Paris and Tera Speaks and husband Terry of Booneville; one son, Todd Helker of Booneville; two sisters, Linda Spencer of California and Billie Munday of Booneville; two brothers, Richard Spencer of Paris and David Spencer of Kentucky; three grandchildren, Jared Miciah Patterson, Emily Patterson and Layla Patterson; three special nephews, Stephen Spencer, Jeremy Spencer and Ryan Spencer and two great nieces, Dori Spencer and Sumi Spencer.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
