Sharon Kaye Mimms, age 79 of Conway, Arkansas passed away on October 20, 2025.
She is survived by her husband Jerry Mimms; children John (Aimee) Mimms, Michael (Jennifer) Mimms and Michele (John) Lax; grandchildren Tyler Mimms, Jackson Mimms, Lillian Mimms and Emma Lax.
She is preceded in death by her parents John and Emma Lou Tyler; brothers Tom Tyler and Johnny Tyler; grandchildren William Lax and Luke Mimms.
Kaye was a former English teacher for many years.
The family would like to thank Hospice Home Care for their kindness.
A private graveside service will be held at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

I am thankful that I was able to have both Mr and Mrs Mimms as teachers when they were at Greenbrier. She was a great teacher that treated the pupils in her room with love and respect. My prayers for you Mr Mimms and your extended family.

I am very sorry for your loss. I had both Mr &Mrs Mimms as teachers at Greenbrier High School a few years ago. I still remember the kindness shown to me by Mrs Mimms.

Jerry & Family,
I am devastated over the loss of my bff! Kaye was my treasured lifelong best friend. We grew up next door to each other until age 19 & our weddings were a week apart. Our kids attended school together & you taught our daughter Beth whose middle name is Kaye after my bestie! We each grew up with two fabulous brothers but no one ever shared so much fun as the two of us! She was definitely a gift from God. Stanley & I love you all so much and will be praying for you & your family in the days ahead.
