Scott, i have such fond memories of your mother. She was our class mother on holidays. I can remember her coming to East side school and being at all of class celebrations. You alwYs have had a sweet family. I know you will miss her terribly. Hugs my friend.
Scott and Vicki,
Praying for you as you miss your precious mother. She was a very special lady. Every time I would come to see Mom at Eagle Mountain she would have a beautiful arrangement from your mom and Elma Raye.
She felt so loved and seen by them.
I have such fond memories of you both during our years in Batesville. Mom, Elma Raye and your mom all make heaven seem sweeter to me.
I love you both!
Suzanne

I am so very sad to hear of Joanie's passing. My heartfelt condolences go out to Vickie, Bryan, Scott, Cindy, and all those who love and miss her. Joanie was a ray of sunshine in this world. I will always remember the good ole days when we moved from Missouri to Batesville, and my family and I lived in the same neighborhood as she did. She and Vickie were the very first people I met in Arkansas. Joanie would often tell me how when my brother Lance was a little boy that he walked over to her house, rang the doorbell and ask for a chocolate chip cookie. She and I would always laugh about that. I remember the beautiful arrangements she made, and the joy it brought her to share them with others at Christmas. Even as I grew up and moved away, we would still send birthday cards to each other every year; I will miss that. Joanie had a pure heart of gold that is rare in these days. She taught me a strong work ethic, and I enjoyed working with her at Coleman dairy for many years. She was an amazing example to me of strength, kindness, love, and forgiveness. An example of what a true lady and godly woman should be like. I am blessed beyond words to have known her, and so very thankful to have had her in my life. She made this world a much better place. Rest in peace precious friend; u will always and forever hold a very special place in my heart.
