Marie ''Rie'' Royce Schultz, 88, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at The Blossoms in Mountain View. Marie was born on May 27, 1937 in Timbo, Arkansas to the late Anthony Clifford and Vernal Mayola Gammill Schultz. Marie was an extremely hard worker all of her life; she also enjoyed volunteering at Dorcas and was a faithful member of Vine Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View. Marie will be remembered for hard work, kindness and most importantly, for the love and devotion she had for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Left to cherish her memory are her nephews, Ronnie Koons and wife, Hannah of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Brian Gilbert of Dover, Arkansas, Jock Schultz of Little Rock, Arkansas, and John Schultz also of Little Rock, Arkansas; nieces, Danette Brewer and husband, James of Mountain View, Arkansas, Deanna Stahl and husband, Tom of New Hampton, NJ., Lora Eaton and husband, Marvin of Rogers, Arkansas, Mitzi Broadway of Little Rock, Arkansas and Mary Ann Harris and husband, Tracy of Landis, Arkansas; thirteen great nephews and nieces; six great-great nephews and nieces; seven great great-great nephews and nieces and one great great-great niece who will be named after Marie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Clifford and Vernal Mayola Gammill Schultz; brother, Paul Schultz; sisters, Virginia McClanahan, Violet Koons, Brenda Gilbert and Rita Ann Schultz.

Visitation is Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services are Saturday, October 4, 2025, 11:00AM at Vine Avenue Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brothers Gary Don Fletcher and Junior Barham officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Tracy Harris, Eric Wallis, Bobby Wallis, James Brewer, Gwyn Blake and Matt Trammell. Honorary Pallbearers are Don Trammell, Larry Trammell, Jim Qualls, Harry and Angie.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
