Betty Martin, 77, of Mountain View, Arkansas went to sleep and awoke in the arms of Jesus, Monday, September 29, 2025. She was born Thursday, January 8, 1948 to Curtis and Mary Hanks Williams.
Betty was loved by her family and friends, who will dearly miss her. Mrs. Betty was a devoted wife to her husband of 31 years.
She was a loving mother to her children and grandchildren and all who knew her. Betty loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved to read the Word of God. She was a light to all who were blessed enough to meet her. She had a quiet spirit but had a way that made you feel like you were the only one in the room. Her silence and loving smile was evidence she hung onto every word.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Mary Williams; her husband, James Martin; grandchild, Gary Branscum, Jr.; great grandchild, Brooklyn Avah Mills; five sisters, Mary Alice Schrock, Betty Jo Velasco, Nola Sue Carroll, Emma Jean Daugherty and Mary Jane Richardson and six brothers, Kenneth Forbus, Billy Dean Williams, Roy Dean Williams, Donnie Williams, Billy Don Williams and Bil Forbus.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving family: Tammy Martin (Jerry) Wilson, Jeannie Martin (Heath) Griffin, Rhonda Martin, Mary Martin (Kelvin) Thomas; grandchildren, Alea Sefton, Brittany McMillion, Courtney Summers, Kelvin Thomas, Jr, Destiny Brown, Kyle Branscum, Kelli Martin, Cole Griffin and Kendyl Griffin and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family friends.
Pallbearers are Kelvin Thomas, Sr., Chris Summers, Jared Brown, Dustin Sefton, Heath Griffin and Cole Griffin. Honorary Pallbearer; Camryn Hallman.
Funeral services Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. with Burial at the Landis Cemetery, Landis, Arkansas.

So sorry for your loss. Praying that you find some comfort that she is resting in the arms of Jesus.

Betty and I used to be good times but over the years we've lost touch with one another.
So sorry for your family's loss. Lean on the Lord and he will bring you through this tragedy.

Ms. Betty was an amazing person. I've heard so many great stories from her granddaughter Kelli. May she rest in peace.
