Frank Samuel SearsI am a Veteran.

of Searcy, AR

September 9, 1944 - September 25, 2025

Frank Samuel Sears went to be with the Lord, his glorious God and savior, on September 25th, 2025. A faithful servant of God, he was born to Marjorie McGonigal Parsley (Mack) and Frank Henry Sears (Ruby) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on September 9th, 1944.

In 1962, Frank graduated from Douglass High School where he excelled at wrestling - earning 2nd place in his home state of Kansas. Following his great reputation in school, he served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Aelolus and was honorably discharged after 6 years of service. He worked on Cessna aircrafts for nearly 2 decades. Later, he worked as a security guard.

He married the love of his life, Yvonne, in 1992 and together, they built a lovely home with God in the center of their lives and marriage. Frank and Yvonne adored each other and thus were absolutely inseparable, the best of friends.

His entire life, Frank enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. He shared fond memories of pheasant hunting with his younger brother, who he loved deeply. He had an immense respect for wildlife and took walks in nature every day. He often shared stories of his beloved childhood dog, Socks, and was fascinated by the legend of ''Big Foot.'' He was an admirable man of God and father who taught his children to work hard and to love God. His 3 daughters cherished him and always believed him to be the strongest man in the world. A weight lifter and runner, being active at the gym and outside accounted for much of his free time throughout his life. He and his wife, Yvonne, could be seen at Fitness 10 frequently, always working out together. On his 80th birthday, he and his brother James impressed all around by competing for the most pushups. He will be deeply missed but his legacy will live on.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his infant son Frank Samuel Sears, Jr., his eldest daughter, Marjorie Louise Sears, and his youngest sister, Sherry Churning.

He is survived by his wife, of 33 years, Yvonne Sears, his daughters, Marshia Sears and Mary Sears Schneider (Daniel), his grandchildren, Ian Scott (Amanda), Zane Scott (Alex), Shellae Scott, Adam Forshee (Lindsey), Sarah Redd, David Schneider, Lucy Schneider, and Henry Schneider, his great grandchildren, Caara, Adrian, Chanelle, Evan, Ashlynn, Violet, and Samuel, his wife's children, Vonda Boatman (Luke), Russel Jordan, and Johnny Jordan, his wife's grandkids, Denny Boatman, Laura Boatman, and Rebecca Boatman, his wife's great grandkids, Sophiya, Amelia and Eowyn, his brother, James Parsley (Jeannie), his sister, Henryetta Moore, his nieces, Lavone Ward and Heather Moore, his nephew, Chris Churning, and the mother of his 4 children, Carolyn Womack Sears.

Visitation will begin 11:00AM, Sunday, September 28, 2025 with Service to follow at 12:00PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy. A private burial will follow.
