of Conway, AR
September 2, 1953 - September 20, 2025
Paul David Palmer, aged 72, lovingly known as David, and Cub to his close friends, passed away on September 20, 2025. Born on September 02, 1953, in Conway, Arkansas to the late Dib (D.W.) Palmer and Billye Hiland Palmer, David was a man of wisdom, work ethic, and unwavering support.
David was born in Conway, but he was raised in North Little Rock. He attended North Little Rock High School where he played baseball. After high school, he received a full scholarship while he received his education at Ole Miss University. Throughout his career and life, he had many accomplishments on the baseball field and at work, but his greatest accomplishment was being ''Papaw'' to his four grandchildren.
David was a hardworking man who built a career at AT&T, formerly Southwestern Bell phone company. Starting as an administrative assistant in 1976, David worked his way to Financial Manager where he happily retired after 35 years.
David was a dedicated husband to Lynda Palmer, his loving wife of 25 years, and a devoted father to Tara, Casey, Michael, and Kurt. He was a proud Papaw to four grandchildren, Eva, Norah, Zack, Noelle, and a loving brother to Philip Palmer and to the late Steve Palmer.
David's passing was sudden and unexpected, but quick, just like he always hoped it would be. He will be remembered for his heart for dogs and his unyielding support for his family and friends. His legacy will forever be etched in our hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of David will be held at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, Arkansas, 72032, on Monday 29th of September 2025 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Faulkner County Humane Society, as a tribute to his memory. Thank you for your presence and support during this difficult time.
Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I hope the Lord surrounds you and gives you strength and peace.

David was a wonderful neighbor! Always looking out for folks. He would mow our other neighbors lawn, just to help her out. Such a friendly and fun loving soul. We'll miss seeing him when we are out for walks in the neighborhood.
Praying for everyone, and we are so very sorry for your loss.
I was fortunate to have played baseball with Cub at Ole Miss. where he was a great friend and teammate.
He will be missed and remembered for his sense of humor.
My heart goes out to his loved one's..
Rest in peace my dear friend.
