James Harold Jones, 69, of Trumann, AR, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. He was born on November 2, 1955, in Harrisburg, AR, to the late Sam and Dorothy Jones.

James was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Michael Jones, Reymond Jones, Clyde Jones, and Curtis Jones; sisters, Mary Baker, Vickie Jones, Wylok Wolfard, and Peggy Crab; and his daughter, Mary Ann Jones.

He was raised in the Black Oak community of Arkansas and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War after enlisting in 1972. Following his military service, James worked at The Bilco Company in Trumann for many years until his retirement.

James had a deep love for his family and his church. He was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann. His other passions included hunting and fishing, which brought him great joy throughout his life. James will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Faith Jones of the home; his children: stepson Joseph (Astrid) Sanders of Temple, TX; stepdaughter Jennifer Sanders of Colorado Springs, CO; daughters Tracy Noyola of Trumann, AR, and Vickey (JC) Wright of Jonesboro, AR. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

The family expresses deep and special thanks to Archie Cooper, who provided such care for James.

A visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann, AR, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service in the sanctuary at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza, AR. Roller-Citizens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
