Carroll Gene Sharping, 73, of Conway, Arkansas went to be with the Lord September 19, 2025. He was born on August 16, 1952 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Lydia Lester Brown.
He was proceeded in death by his mother; brothers, Paul Wayne Vestal of North Little Rock, Thomas Lester of North Little Rock, Mike Couch of Pine Bluff and his grand-daughter, Emersyn Sharping of Conway.
Carroll was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. He was a member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, being outdoors and being with family and friends.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 38 years, Vicki; daughter, Amanda Mayes (Lambert) of Vilonia; son, Steven Sharping (Crystal) of Russellville; granddaughter, Dakota Sharping of Guy; grandson, Nolan Dunham of Vilonia; brothers, Tommy Ray Vestal of Conway, Carthal Vestal of Westville, Oklahoma and many friends and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Oak Bowery Baptist Church in memory of Carroll Sharping, continuing his legacy of giving and faith.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 2:00pm at Oak Bowery Baptist Church, visitation will be at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Oak Bowery Cemetery.
May Carroll now rest in the peace of Christ, surrounded by the beauty of Heaven, where he is reunited with loved ones and continues to rejoice in eternal communion with God.

RIP, this man gave me and my mother Ruth Brown a place to stay when we needed it the most, he refused to let me be homeless, and I will never forget the times he took me to his church during events and he would always playfully pick on me and I know he was just playing, I will miss this man and everything he has done for me

My dad (Herschel Dorris) and Carroll enjoyed fishing together and im so glad they got to spend some time together before he went home to be with our Lord. My condolences to Steven and the family Carroll will truly be missed.

I have known him and Vicki for quite a number of years. I was their insurance agent and friend. One thing I will never forget about him was that every time that I saw him, he invited me to come to his Church so I know how much he loved the Lord. I will never forget him. RIP my friend.
