Brenda J. Labiak

of Houston, AR

July 24, 1949 - September 16, 2025

Early Tuesday morning, September 16, 2025, Brenda J. Labiak, age 76, left this earthly home and went to meet her Lord and Savior in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Ruby Starkey Marshall and Ty Marshall, her stepson, Jeffery Labiak, four brothers, Dalton, Donnie, Randy, and Tony, two sisters, Marilyn and Carolyn.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Labiak, of Houston, Arkansas, her sons, Christopher (Jenne) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Sr. Chief Petty Officer, Matthew Labiak, of Chesapeake, Virginia, a stepdaughter, Natalie (Kelly) Labiak, of California, three grandchildren, Peyton Breann and Easton Christopher, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Landon Joseph, of Chesapeake, Virginia, two step granddaughters, Mary Nicole and Brittany Jane, one sister, Barbara Smith, of Conway, two brothers, Jim Marshall, of Conway, and Mike (Karen) Marshall, of Houston, Arkansas, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, who always called her their ''fun'' aunt.
Brenda lived in many places but loved to tell everyone she grew up in Lollie and Toad suck, Arkansas. She spent many happy years in Tucson, Arizona, before moving back to Arkansas, then to a beautiful riverbank home in Perry County.
She was an adventurer and it would take a book to list all of her places of employment over the years. She was a Beauty School graduate, worked for the Employment Security Division, was a Beautician at CHDC and many other notable jobs. She was even in the Marines for a short time but was honorably discharged due to a disability.
Music and singing were her passion, as well as teaching in Bible School, AWANA, the play and learn program while in Arizona and teaching Sunday School at Calvary Baptist in Conway. She taught her grands to sing along with her, took them on fun trips and made sure they had every toy they mentioned. She sky dived, climbed mountains, swam in oceans and rivers, helped raise race horses, but her favorite thing to do was to be with her family and play the guitar.
She will be truly missed by each life she touched.
