Mildred Harris, age 90, of Choctaw, Arkansas passed away at her home September 12, 2025. She was born in Formosa, Arkansas on October 8, 1934 to Ira and Cora Nicholson.
She graduated high school at Clinton in 1953. Shortly after graduation she moved to Little Rock where she met Herman Harris. They married on July 27, 1957. In the early 1970's they moved to Clinton to raise their family. She worked for Belden in Clinton, retiring after 23 years of service.
Mildred was a faithful member of Formosa Church of Christ. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, granny, aunt and friend. Mildred will be greatly missed and we are so blessed to have had her influence on us.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Cora Nicholson; her husband, Herman Harris; her sister, Verna Nell Smtih; her brothers, Alfred James Nicholson and Don Nicholson; her sisters-in-law, Zula Nicholson and Joycie Nicholson and brother-in-law, Hubert Smith.
Mildred is survived by her son, Gary Harris of Choctaw; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Bobby Hartwick of Damascus; grandson, Brad Hartwick of Norman, Arkansas; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Cassie and Zach Cantlon of Greenbrier, Arkansas; one great grandson, Ryder Hartwick of Norman, Arkansas and one brother, Troy Nicholson of Jasper, Alabama. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Clinton, Arkansas on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Her funeral will be Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at Formosa Church of Christ with Adam Eppes officiating. Interment will follow at Culpepper Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brad Hartwick, Ryder Hartwick, Mitchell Hullum, Jim Fowler, Joe Tsosie and Darrell Oliger. Honorary pallbearers are Zach Cantlon and Jeremy McMahan.

Dearest sweet aunt…we will miss you terribly but have comfort in knowing you are with the Lord and will never hurt again.
I have only good and positive memories of you. I love you always.

My life will be less cheer without Mildred , she has been a good friend. always cheering me up when I was down and laughing with me when she could.

Sorry for your lost. I remember Mildred when I worker with her at Belden. She was a hard worker and sweet person. Prays for the family.

I loved Aunt Mildred and was very glad that I got to spend time with her these last few years. Aunt Mildred, Aunt Vernell, along with Grandma Nicholson were great influences on me. I will miss her very much.
