Karen E. Rosson

of Springdale, AR

April 20, 1954 - September 10, 2025

Mrs. Karen Elizabeth Rosson, age 71, of Springdale, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, surrounded by love in her hometown of Springdale.

Karen was born on April 20, 1954, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to the late Paul S. and Flora E. Butler (Layne). She was a proud daughter of the South, full of faith, warmth, and grace. She believed in putting God first, and lived a life that reflected her deep love for family, home, and the simple joys of everyday living.

Karen shared 53 beautiful years of marriage with her high school sweetheart and very best friend, Steve Rosson. Together, they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their union was blessed with two children, Steven and Judy (George), and later with five precious grandchildren: Matthew ''Ram'', Alyssa, Derek, Ashley, and Cole. Her love extended to her great-grandbabies: Tanner, Hudson, Sophie, and Jade Lynn, who brought her endless joy and pride.

Karen was the heart of her home â€" a talented decorator with a gift for turning any space into a haven of beauty and peace. Her home was a reflection of her soul: warm, welcoming, and full of love. She adored her cats, and they, like all who knew her, were drawn to her gentle spirit and nurturing heart.

Karen served the Springdale School District faithfully for 20 years before retiring. She was a wonderful cook, known for filling her kitchen with the smells of comfort and tradition. Whether it was Sunday supper or holiday gatherings, Karen made every meal feel like a celebration.

She was a beloved sister to Donald, Raymond, Jewell, Larry, Clarence, and Susie, and held tight the memories of her siblings who preceded her in death: Carrol, Rita, Nora Mae, and Lavern.

Karen's legacy is one of quiet strength, deep faith, and enduring love. She leaves behind a family bound together by the lessons she taught â€" to love fiercely, cherish home, and always keep God at the center.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM, at Roller Funeral Home, with Pastor Delman Parnell officiating. Karen will be laid to rest at Galatia Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Steve Rosson, Matthew Rosson, Jewell Butler, Steven Rosson, David Rosson Jr., and Rusty Rosson.
Honorary Pallbearers include: LJ Rosson, Bob Brim, and Elmer Rosson.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that Karen is now at peace, resting in the arms of her Savior, and watching over the home and family she loved so well.
