Casimir ''Cas'' Calka, 72, of Clarksville, Arkansas passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 4, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on September 12, 1952 in Albany, New York. Cas previously worked for a short time at General Store and Pawn in Clarksville, which he loved. He was retired.
In Cas' early years, he enjoyed bowling and joined a league. He was a handyman for carpentry and home repairs. He did some woodworking and loved eagles. He loved playing cards and dominoes with family. He loved his coffee black and playing games on his phone. Cas loved kidding around and could light up a room with his sense of humor. Cas showed an exceptional resilience, strength and attitude as he fought his cancer battle.
Cas is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Robin Calka; his wife, Sylvia Calka; a grandson, Dale Ault; his parents, Casimir Francis Jr. and Beverly (Bing) Calka.
He is survived by children, David (Lorraine) Ault of Clarksville, Tim Ault of Clarksville, Matt (Amanda) Ault of Malvern, Tina Lutrell of Sheridan, Beverly (Ben) Allison of Lamar; grandchildren, Dewayne Ault, Amber Roach, Caleb Ault, Christian Lutrell, Tiana Mohr, Kayleigh Johnson, Becky Simpson, Triston Ault, Johnathon Anderson, Austin Allison and Brandon Allison; two sisters, Sharon Calka of New York and Bonnie Voss of Wisconsin and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dewayne Ault, Caleb Ault, Christian Lutrell, Triston Ault, Johnathon Anderson, Austin Allison and Brandon Allison. Honorary pallbearers will be Sheila Harvey and the staff at General Store Pawn. The Calka family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Sasha Johnson, the Medical Center Staff in Clarksville, Dr. Thomas Sneed, the Carti staff in Russellville and the Arkansas Hospice staff at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock.
A visitation for Cas will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow service at Carter Cemetery in Clarksville.
So sorry for yalls loss. My thoughts and prayers are with yall. I enjoyed getting to know Cass..he was a ton of fun to be around. He will be missed.
