Dear sweet family.. So sorry. Dale was a good, good man. I always loved seeing him on Sunday mornings at Church. He always brightened my day and i always felt a little better by just being around him. He has finished the race and stayed focused on the Lord all these years. No doubt about that. I will always have the best memories of him and still remember things he mentioned so many years ago. I pray for you all to have peace and comfort in the weeks and months to come. Love yall..

Dale and Bug started working for Coffee Dan, my father, when I was 11 or 12 years old. They both worked for my father throughout their teenage years. I couldn't have had a better, bigger brother.
Please indulge me in one quick story.
I got my first bicycle on Christmas. It was the best bike Schwinn made: chrome fenders, a headlight on the front fender, a horn, and white wall tires.
In Damascus, in the 50s, most young boys got a hand-me-down from their older brother, our next-door neighbor. I often wish that was what I had.
My dad wanted me to keep the bike pristine. Every time I use it on the country road, it gets dirty or muddy, and Dale was very patient and helped me keep that bike in like-new condition.
Over the years, Dale helped me build a miniature golf course in Heber Springs, spruce up the Damascus gymnasium so I could rent skates for $.35 apiece, and put myself through Ouachita College, remodel my vacation home of 40 years, and Damascus, etc.
Good night, my good friend, you will not be forgotten. May the good Lord long bless your memory.

We only got to know Dale the last 9 years of his time on earth, but always cherished the time together. He was a great man, and will be missed.
