Daniel ''Danny'' K. Dacus, 66, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Dacus Woodard; his father, Al Dacus and his brother, David ''Mike'' Dacus.

Danny is survived by his sister, Leah (Ray) Greenberg of Sarasota, FL; his uncle, Edward (Mary) Klingensmith; his aunt, Marcella (Tom) Blair of OK and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins, including Kelly and Denise Klingensmith. He was also blessed with the care and friendship of his former caregivers, Travis and Brooke Tramble of Jonesboro and the devoted support of his current caregivers at Achieve Community Alliance, an affiliate of United Cerebral Palsy.

Danny was a former client of Jonesboro Human Development Center, where he made lasting connections and touched the lives of many who cared for him.

Danny will be remembered for his deep love for his mother and for his toy ducks, both of which brought him comfort and joy throughout his life. His life was one of resilience, strength and love and he will be forever missed by those who knew him.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Achieve Community Alliance for their dedication and kindness in caring for Danny.

Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Friday, September 5, 2025 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jonesboro under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Justin Klingensmith, Ella Klingensmith, Kelly Klingensmith, Travis Tramble and David Klingensmith will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or to Achieve Community Alliance (achievecommunity.org) or United Cerebral Palsy (ucpark.org).
