Chester Glenn (Chet) Sullivant, age 94, of Harrison passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness. Chet was born on April 1, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri to Forrest and Sylvia Marie Sullivant.

He spent his early childhood helping his parents work in the family confectionary. He then moved to Smithville and Tiline, Kentucky and was reared by his grandmother, Effie Sullivant. After graduating high school, Chet spent four years in the US Army where he proudly served with an armored division in Germany. After completing his service he attended the University of Missouri and graduated with a degree in accounting. While there he met Sylvia Dodd and they married in 1957. Chet made a career working for the IRS and several governmental regulatory agencies in multiple states before retiring to Harrison in 1994 Chet was an avid reader, sports fan and card player. He enjoyed cribbage, pinochle and was an accomplished bridge player.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents and sisters, Joy and Judy.

Chet is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia; his sons, Dan (Maryanne) Sullivant of St. Louis, Missouri; Mark (Loyce) Sullivant of Austin, Texas; Randall (Sherrie) Sullivant of Golden, Mississippi; Scott (Trish) Sullivant of Salt Lake City, Utah and James Patrick of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and his sister, Carol of Kentucky.
