1 Thessalonians 4:13-14:

We do not grieve like those who have no hope... For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

Aunt Margie,
I will miss you with a weight that words can't carry.
You were gentle in ways the world forgets to beā€"
a quiet force of kindness, a heart made of gold.

You never asked for praise, but you gave everything:
your time, your warmth, your unwavering love.
You made people feel seen. Safe. Held.

Now, with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat,
I whisper my final goodbye.
It hurts to let go, but I find comfort knowing
you're finally at peaceā€"
free from pain, wrapped in light.

To your sons, my heart aches with them.
May they feel you in the quiet moments,
in the laughter you left behind,
in the love that never leaves.

You were one of the good ones, Aunt Margie.
And I'll carry you with me, always.
