Joyce Jennison, 91, of Midway, Arkansas passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025. Born Joyce Carol Meyer on May 23, 1934 in Brainerd, Minnesota, she lived a life filled with warmth, passion and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature.
Joyce is survived by Mark Jennison, June Jennison, Margo Ways (Jennison), Louis Charles Ways Jr, Kimberly Ways and Jennifer Ways Cooper and Rodney Cooper Jr., each of whom will carry on her legacy of kindness, grace and resilience.
Throughout her life, Joyce had a deep affection for animals, particularly cats, whose companionship brought her comfort. She also found joy in the hummingbirds that visited her garden and her happiest days often included swimming at the lake, where she felt truly at home.
Her quiet strength and love for her family and the world around her will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness toward animals or a simple gesture to brighten someone's day, a tribute Joyce would have cherished.

Joyce was an interesting person, a well read individual who knew a wide range of topics. She was a delight to have a conversation with no matter where it began and if it ended and carried into the next news event of the day.
